Job Title: Third Shift Supervisor for Fabrication Openings: 1
Shift: Sunday Thursday: 10p 7a

Major Responsibilities:
? Oversee fabrication areas to focus on production scheduling, quality assurance, executing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining safe/efficient manufacturing operations
? Assist in training employees and audit manufacturing/testing procedures
? Understand and properly execute emergency procedures
? Demonstrate required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees to build trust and confident amongst the management team and peers
? Partner with other area supervisors, managers, engineers and other operations resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner
? Lead workforce to meet specified operational metrics and area goals, including leading Lean Savings projects, reducing Cost of Poor Quality, improving On-Time Shipments, and enhancing employee engagement
? Serve as back-up for the second shift Thin Film Coating when needed
Education, Experience, and Skills:
? A.S. degree in a technical or business discipline is required; B.S. degree in an engineering or scientific degree is preferred
? A minimum of three years of working in a manufacturing environment is required; prior supervision/leadership experience is required; experience supervising a manufacturing operation is strongly preferred
? Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
? Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft products is required; experience with data analysis software, such as MiniTab is preferred
? Computer Science, Management - Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical degree.
? Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts required
