Seeking assembly technician to build and test various fluid power components including, but not limited to, hydraulic hand pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, directional control valves, and pneumatic counting devices.
Assemble products per mechanical drawings and verbal instructions.
Test parts manually and with hydraulic/pneumatic test fixtures.
Diagnose test failure root causes, teardown and rebuild.
Verify fixtures are working correctly and safely.
Visually assess parts and subassemblies for defects and/or machining errors.
Ensure proper inventory control by monitoring available part quantities and reporting to manager.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
High school diploma or equivalent, e.g. GED.
Ability to read 2-D mechanical drawings.
Skill with typical measurement tools - pressure gauges, calipers, scales.
Skill with common hand tools, drill/arbor presses, electrical switch boxes, etc.
Industrial experience preferred
