All shifts, $14.00hr.
Position Overview: Read blueprints,sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment. Determines how to set up machines based on instructions.
Essential Job Functions:
Operate and complete simple setups on various CNC and manual- milling, turning and millturn machines to assure quality parts produced in a timely fashion.
Assist machinist with load/unload, deburring and dimensional checks.
Must read and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
Working knowledge of shop and machine safety procedures.
Read and understand blue prints. G-Code/mcode is a plus.
Must use micrometers,calipers, dial indicators and other measuring tools.
Must understand basic application of various cutting tools
Flexible, self motivated, good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be willing /able to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
High School or GED required
1+ years of machine shop experience required.
Lifting, pushing, pulling 50lbs
CNC and manual lathe experience, Mill experience, Alpha experience a plus.
CNC Mori/Seiki HMC (multi pallet) preferred.
PC skills are a plus.
