Are you looking for a company that is continuing to grow? This company was founded in 1948, had been 100% owned by founder from 1949 until 1984. In 1984, the owner established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) for the purpose of creating the best possible retirement program for our employees. In July of 1992, the Company's management transferred 100% ownership to the ESOP and management. This company is seeking a mechanical assembler.

- must be well versed in both - DOESN'T want a person who is just a strong electrical person who can wire
--Minimum of HS Diploma (or equiv) REQUIRED PLUS 7-10 years related experience
--Able to read and understand documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
--Comfortable using a computer
--Excellent communication skills both oral and written (will be interacting with customers)
--Shop math to include geometric algebraic and trigonometric calculations. MUST perform metric conversions.
--Basic knowledge of carpentry and pneumatics is beneficial but not required.
--Able to travel - Average is 20% but can be up to 40% of the time based on the customer need
--Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
--Reliable transportation

Duties include:
-- Assembly of machinery, working from prints or schematics, will wire panels, test equipment, troubleshoot, on new & used machines
-- Electrical skills should include the ability to work with high voltage - 440+, single & 3 phase
--Will do meter testing - PLC's, panel views, switches, piping, etc.
--Assemble & fit parts, sub-assemblies and mechanisms together
--Setup and operate a variety of machines to include horizontal & vertical mills, lathes, grinders, mig welders, presses, etc. both manual and CNC equipment
--Ability to operate various hand tools, power hand tools, and machine tools to make adjustments to tooling or the parts
--Use precision measuring devices to setup and adjust parts and verify conformance of work to specifications
--Operate a fork truck
--Troubleshoot complex assembly problems
--Perform general preventive maintenance work on tools and equipment
--Create and complete all necessary paperwork
--Able to handle field service work in the future
--Ideal person will be able to assign work to other assemblers - work more in a "LEAD" role
--Need own tools
--Able to "think" on own - problem solving - will be using this skill on a daily basis as well as in the field!!


They occasionally work 10 hr shifts & some Saturdays so make sure candidates can work overtime. The pay varies from $16-$20/hr. The shift will be from 7A-3:30P.
