Direct-Hire Human Resources Generalist .

Location: Beachwood, OH.

Interviews: Occuring.

Start Date: Immediately.

Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F.

Salary: 40k-55k (based upon experience).

Responsibilities include:

                     Recruitment : Work with regional managers to determine staffing needs. Focus on effectively sourcing through resume reviews and phone interviews; ensure a positive experience for all candidates beginning with initial contact. Schedule pre-employment requirements (i.e. drug test and background checks). Provide timely, accurate, and relevant feedback to candidates throughout the various recruiting cycles. Maintain integrity of data entered into Talent Management System. Participate in site specific and/or function specific recruiting and community events as needed; attend Job Fairs. Collaborate with managers to effectively hire in areas of need. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, internet sites, media and colleges. Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Increase talent acquisition by placing job advertisements, using social media, electronic media, and career sites. Determine applicant qualifications by phone interviewing, analyzing responses, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements. Arrange interviews with clients.

                     Employee Relations: Responds to employees' inquiries regarding personnel policies and procedures. Objectively assessing and bringing to resolution employee relations issues. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues, and conducts investigations and handles employee relations counseling. Develops and proposes improvements to policies, programs, systems and procedures. Maintain user procedure manuals and payroll policies to ensure they are current with the processes.

                     Benefits: Responsible for the open enrollment process including communication, roll out and changes. Edit life event changes and/or assist with employee related questions regarding benefits.

                     Compliance: Regular and timely fling of 5500, EEO-1, Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, etc. Compliance with Affordable Care Act reporting. Assemble and maintain new hire personnel files, maintain all personnel files and conduct annual file audits. Ensure they are maintained in legal compliance. Researches and provides on-going updates of state and federal regulatory requirements impacting employment, benefits, compensation, etc.

                     Leave of Absence: Manages full cycle Leave of Absence and FMLA administration.

                     Performance Management: Administers Performance Evaluation Program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization; annual performance reviews and performance improvement plans. Align performance to merit structure for consistency

                     Other duties: Oversees and maintains human resource database (Paycor), ensures that system records are accurately recorded and cross checked. Conducting exit interviews, monitor for trends, develops action plan. Research, compile and analyze data for special personnel projects and reports. Research questions related to payroll, benefits and general process and procedural request. Other duties as assigned .

Requirements include:

                     Three to five years of human resources experience in a variety of Human Resources disciplines (company policy, government regulations, compensation, recruiting, benefits and other areas related to the human resources function) requiring proficiency.

                     Three to five years of general business experience, preferably in real estate, property management.

                     Bachelor s degree preferred in Human Resources or related field.

                     Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, EEO, Title VII, etc.

                     Experience administering various HR systems (i.e. HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, and Timekeeping).

                     Knowledge and experience with Paycor system.

                     Computer Skills: Previous experience with ADP/Paycor; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).

                     Candidate must have strong business knowledge, be able to plan, prioritize and organize workloads, multi-task, adapt to new priorities, be team-oriented and self-motivated with strong communication skills, excellent decision-making skills, and be able to learn quickly, and possess excellent organization and follow through skills.
