ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Under limited supervision is responsible for the accurate receipt, transfer, put-away, delivery, cycle counting, product replenishment and kitting of parts. Performs consolidation, organization, maintenance and housekeeping of all inventory locations as necessary. Maintain data and records in good order within and outside of the systems. Actively communicates with all departments to prevent, resolve and follow-up with problems as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS
1 to 3 years experience in inventory control
1 year minimum Kan-ban and consignment experience
Root cause analysis experience
Experience in warehouse operations and knowledge of materials
Experience in business data software such as Oracle and DSI (Data System International Inc)
Customer focused with a sense of urgency
1 year Lean thinking in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, Inventory systems, computer software
Ability to analyze and select parts based on defined rules and requirements
High level of organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Must have a valid driver license
Fork-truck certification

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
For all intent and purposes, this job description applies to all Inventory 3 personnel. However the level of knowledge and performance of activities will determine the type of Team member each employee fall into:


1. Inventory control management
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies per Inventory and Negative s report in JDE
Cycle count and resolve root cause using JDE and DSI
Properly process and maintain Kan-ban replenishment, Red tags, Consignment, and Return to vendor transactions with the use of JDE and DSI

2. Receives and manages materials
Unload carriers with required equipment such as a fork-lift, Electric hand jack, or pallet jack
Incoming materials verification for correct part number, quantity, and routing using JDE and DSI
Evaluates system requirements for determining where parts will be put-away using JDE and DSI
Communicate and follow up via email to resolve receiving problems with corresponding departments
Receives purchase orders (PO`s) based on email confirmation with the use of JDE and DSI
Maintain stockroom and receiving area clean and organized
Pick, stock, and consolidate various parts to maximize floor space with the us of DSI and JDE
Transfer items throughout company buildings utilizing ParCars
Accurately and timely manage material transfer s as needed per building with the use of JE and DSI

3. Performs the accurate and timely kitting of parts
Accurately process and kit parts according to work order requirements using DSI and JDE
Maintain manual issue report by kitting work orders in a timely manner
Identify and report work orders inventory discrepancies to corresponding department supervisors via email, with the use of JDE and DSI
Organize, consolidate and cycle count in stockroom/warehouse to maximize space and inventory accuracy using JDE and DSI

4. Ensures that requisitions from the various departments get completed on timely basis.
Assist Accounting department as needed
Assist Purchasing department as needed
Assist Planning department as needed
Assist Engineering department as needed

5. Perform other duties as assigned.
a. May include rotational assignments in Shipping/Receiving


WORKING CONDITIONS
Warehouse non-controlled environment

Physical Requirements
Bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
