Small manufacturer, with over 50 years in business, seeks an Office Manager with 3-5 years experience.  This company is known for the custom design and engineering of filters used in a variety of applications.


         Monday Friday, regular full-time hours

         Up to 48K annual salary based on experience

Under the direction and guidance of the VP/GM, assists all departments by providing high level support. Support accounting, human resources, sales, purchasing, and production.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.


         Confidential administrative support of the President/CEO.

         Provide world class customer service to customers; follow-up on received shipments, consistent contact with existing customers for their supply needs, and developing quality leads with new customers.

         Word process all department correspondence, projects, labor contracts, and reports. May compose routine memos and letters as directed. Complete and word process department form letters.

         Responsible for maintaining and ordering office supplies, equipment and wellness menu items.

         Responsible for all company purchases.

          Search out suppliers, negotiate price, and complete timely orders.

         Prepare weekly/monthly Company KPI s, analyze results, and help coordinate measures to fix negative outcomes.

         Responsible for organizational file plan and working with VP/GM in ensuring it is compliant.

         Responsible for Marketing efforts; Social media updates, Website, Advertising, creation of industry databases, and email blasts. All efforts geared toward new customer acquisition.

         Plan and prepare office functions and parties, work with VP/GM for budget and guidance.

         Work with Engineering and sales in New Product development; from sourcing new materials to understanding our competitor s offerings.

         Maintain employee personnel files, onboard new employees, administer company benefits, review benefits, and own company handbook.


Education and/or Experience

         Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business from a four-year college or university and/or three years administration experience.


Computer Skills

         To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. 


Reasoning and Math Ability

         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

         Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

          Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.

          Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

         Ability to write reports and business correspondence and to effectively present information to top management and/or boards of directors.  

         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages and apply concepts of basic algebra
