ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee tends the creel that winds several strands of fiberglass into a machine. Threads roving through guides, and attaches roving to take up package or laps roving around spindle of winder to form coreless package. The employee will manage various types of material and will need to identify them. Must change out the rolls in the racks to manage the flow and rotation of the material so it all doesn t run out at the same make sure the strings aren t crossed up and fix crossed strings immediately. Ties broken ends and machine operator will notify the creel operator to increase or decrease ends according to specifications. The employee must cut and separate cardboard and stack on pallets and stack all empty pallets at the gates to be removed from the creel area , and clean assigned area and empty trash cans at the end of shifts.
Candidate minimum experience:
High school diploma or general education degree
Industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand sometimes in excess of 7 hours and use hands to handle or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
