Accuracy of financial estimates and budgets, ensures projects are completed according to project plan, bills of materials, drawings, and specifications. In addition, coordination and quality control of specific work scope with understanding the processes involved for successful product completion.
Responsible for initial review and preparation of estimates for customer request-for-bid packages.
Provides minor design revisions as required, using AutoCAD or Solid Works design software.
Reviews and ensures the requirements of customer purchase order for product build and project work package agree; identify and get clarifications on any discrepancies.
Prepares purchasing bill of materials to include materials, equipment procurement, specifications, budget, and delivery requirements.
Prepare and issue shop packages to include Bill of Materials, Drawings, test Packet, P&ID, Shop Packet (Traveler), and any other required forms to complete work.
Works with the necessary project support team to prove technical integrity.
Conducts interval and final checks on work-in-process.
Negotiate with project stakeholders, including vendors, on technical requirements and approaches.
Perform project closeout, as required.
Enforces engineering best practices.
Will communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, to a variety of stakeholders. He/she will disseminate clear and concise technical reporting essential for the products/projects and its team members.
The fiscal responsibilities include managing a budget for projects, and/or components of programs under the general direction of the Program Manager. Complete these duties drawing from a working knowledge of basic revenue models and cost-to-completion projections/budgets.
