GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
While performing any procedure, all associates must observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate necessary data and reports for internal departments, customers, and vendors.
Assists other departments in maintaining the ISO9001 standards.
Analyze material failure data and laboratory test results, determine root cause and develop solutions.
Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel.
Maintain the material review area to ensure that all material is dispositioned in a timely manner.
Participate in and/or lead Root Cause Analysis cross functional teams
Communicate quality improvement suggestions and issues with department supervisor.
Provide support and guidance to the Quality technicians when measuring and testing Lab samples and material; Review and monitor data for trend analysis.
Maintain the Quality Lab and the distribution of all measuring equipment as well as calibration requirements.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Any other duties as assigned.
Job has recurring work situations involving high degrees of discretion. The need for accuracy and effective utilization of resources is high. Errors in judgment will waste resources and adversely impact unit performance. Incumbent operates independently but work is verified. Content of work priorities are determined by supervision.
