Our Waukesha County manufacturer is looking for experienced team leader in assembly to join their busy and growing team. Company offers competitive wages, benefits and more. They are seeking an individual that has an associates degree or higher.
You would be responsible to plan and schedule assembly operations for the Stairlift Product department to meet production goals and to meet key metrics, Schedule work, assist with employee selection, review employee performance, administer work rules, maintain department inventory system and work instructions. To the extent that it falls within department control, be responsible for productivity and quality management. Recommend equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments and process modifications. Provide leadership for team members and support company policies.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in engineering, business or related field is highly desired.
Associate degree in business or related field and minimum 2 years experience supervising personnel is required.
Experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment, with an emphasis in knowledge of high mix, lower volume, manual assembly, production scheduling and Lean Manufacturing principles a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Create business-level written correspondence and verbally present information to internal and external customers.
Requires job related software skills, MS Office and the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
Ability to lift over 30 pounds occasionally
1st shift - 6:00am-2:30pm but they could start as early as 5:00am and late at 3:30pm, Saturdays would be like 6:00am-12:00pm.
Pay rate starts at $22.71/hour and goes up based on experience.
