We currently hiring for Temporary, Temp-To Hire and Direct Hire employees within the Philadelphia Region.   Duties include:

  • Complete shipments by processing and loading orders
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard
  • Receive and count stock items
  • Keep records and compile stock reports
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses or storage yards
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms or other areas
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling equipment
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defect
  • Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers
  • Complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors
  • Maintain truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment

 

Requirements include:

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Fork lift, Welding & Soldering experience desired
  • Experience working in warehouse a plus
