Our partner is seeking an Accounts Payable team member for permanent placement in their Rittman office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and family-owned company who treats its employees well.
Shift: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 an hour, depending on experience.
Review and verify invoices and check-requests.
Sort, code and match invoices.
Set invoices up for payment.
Enter and upload invoices into system.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Prepare and perform check runs.
Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Prepare analysis of accounts.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Maintain vendor files.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Produce monthly reports.
Assist with month-end closing.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Knowledge of accounts payable.
Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
Knowledge of relevant accounting software especially Sage 100.
Proficient in data entry and management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Maintain confidentiality and use good judgement.
Possess good communication and information-management skills.
Work well with internal and external team.
