Purchaser/Buyer

 

Our client has been a machining industry leader in the Oldsmar area for 40 years.  Due to growth and service expansion, we are currently searching for a dependable and self driven candidate to fill their open Purchaser/Buyer position.

 

Job Summary:

Coordinating activities involving with procuring of goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for the organization.

 

Duties include:

         Reviews requisitions

         Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hands is in sufficient quantity.

         Selects product for purchase

         Works with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule

         Prepares purchase orders

         Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations

         approves invoices

         Expedites delivery of goods to users

 

Requirements include:

         Purchasing experience for a manufacturer is a must!

         Job aptitude and desire to grow

         1-2 years of experience with setting and maintaining stocking levels

         2-3 years of experience in CSR order fulfillment
