The Reserves Network is currently seeking a High Level Skilled CNC Mill machine operator with minimum 2-3 years continuous experience to work at an established manufacturing company on Cleveland s east side. This company opened its doors in 1942 and began its journey to grow into one of the world s largest manufacturers of standard tooling components, vises and other work holding equipment.



Job Purpose:

         Produces machined parts by operating skilled machines such as: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and Warner and Swasey Screw Machines

         Maintaining quality and safety standards

         Keeping records

         Maintaining equipment and supplies

 

Duties Include:

         Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints/schematics, engineering plans, materials, specifications.

         Demonstrated experience in selecting proper fixtures, call up appropriate programs, loading tools per tool sheet and making minor adjustments as needed to produce acceptable first piece per print.

         Interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.

         Adhering to international standards.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations.

         Taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes.
Adjusting and reprogramming controls.

         Sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

         Preventive maintenance.


Requirements Include:

         Experience with Micrometers, Calipers and Optical Comparators.

Experience with holding tight tolerances (+/_ .0002).

         Process Improvement.

         Experience with controls, tooling, off sets and Instrumentation.

         Must have knowledge of and experience working  with G & M Codes.

         Inventory Control.

         Must be flexible and able to meet hiring requirements.
