Performs a variety of clerical duties in addition to supporting the activities of the Controller.
Contact customers about payment for items delivered.
Audits time cards and labor tracking cards.
Enters time and labor information into SAP.
Develops various reports from time cards and labor tracing cards.
Processes routine invoices.
Processes sales representative expense reports.
Coordinates administrative activities with all functional areas within the plant including plant operations/maintenance areas.
Performs filing, data entry, records maintenance, copying, faxing, mail distribution and HR/Accounting-related activities.
Assists with distributing employee communication updates including plant postings and company generated communications.
Creates purchase orders for all office needs, facility maintenance, equipment maintenance and service vendors.
Communicates company and plant information verbally and in writing.
Relies on pre-established procedures and processes to perform the functions of the job.
Performs addition duties as requested.
Education and Training:
High School Degree or equivalent required.
Associates Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and related experience desirable.
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years clerical/administrative experience required preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Express.
SAP experience highly desirable.
Experience in collections required.
Demonstrated experience in providing support in payroll and accounts payable/receivable areas.
