Customer Service Representative

Springfield, OH well-established, manufacturer seeks fulltime Logistics/Customer Service Representative.
Full-time schedule, Monday thru Friday.
$13.50/hr minimum; greater pay offered, depending upon experience.
Provide front line, direct support to customers or sales representatives.
Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of production materials and supplies.
Use computerized system for tracking, information gathering and/or trouble shooting the items raised by the customer.
Research/resolve customer inquiries.
Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers' problems.
Respond in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
Track warehouse items to ensure availability, and that agreed upon minimum/maximum stock levels are maintained.
Recognize problem areas and report to higher levels for action.
Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
Follow standard procedures and policies.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office). Data entry experience necessary.
Extreme attention to detail. Strong reasoning ability and math skills required.
2+ years previous experience working in a manufacturing/logistics environment preferred.
Prescreen testing required.
