Waukesha county precision machine shop needs your top skills as a Deburring Tech.


Duties and Responsibilities:

         A Deburring Tech requires manual dexterity and is responsible for grinding, honing, lapping manufactured parts to remove excess materials or burrs from internal or external surfaces. Work is subject to inspection and check.

         Use of microscopes 100% of day.

         You will select wheels, dressing and abrasives best suited for type of job.

         You will apply and manipulate work to wheels exercising proper pressure and duration to maintain contours, relative shape and close dimensions.

         You will need knowledge of deburring fundamentals and procedures; grind, sand, or polish using hand tools or hand-held tools.

         You will adjust and change machine tools to ensure deburring meets company/customer specifications.



         2+ years stable work history in a job shop

         Attention to detail

         Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


Physical Demands include:

         Require the ability to clearly see through a microscope 100% of work day.

         Ability to sit 100% of work day; may occasionally need to stand, bend or twist.

         Ability to lift and work with up to 15lbs. intermittently.

         Manual dexterity required to handle small parts and tooling.


1st shift

$12-15/hr. based on experience
