E -Coat Technician

Global Auto Parts Manufacturing looking to partner with a dedicated E-Coat Technician. Our customer supports major automotive manufactures by producing quality parts that go into the cars we drive everyday.
Monitor and assist on e coat daily operations, which include bath parameter controls and waste- water treatment systems.
Measure and monitor fil build, e-coat application adhesion and oven temperatures.
Skilled with scales, micrometers, rulers, calipers or gauge
Select appropriate coating, paints or sprays or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment.
Perform quality checks on coated products, such as salt spray, humidity, water resistance, pencil hardness, adhesion, rubbings and cyclic corrosion testing.
Maintain and monitor the operation conditions of the e-coat lines. Perform quality checks to meet requirements for the coating systems.
Must have prior manufactory experience
Must be willing to cross train
Must be able to work required overtime
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Pre-screening testing is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Time/half for overtime
Great pay rate: $11.50 per hours
