Equipment Operator, McDonough - $14.25
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using the following machines: Turret Truck (Swing Reach), Reach Truck, Power Jack and Drexel.
Maintain the facility s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control is maintained.
Assist in physical inventories.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Must always follow the Tory Burch Safety Standards and Codes of Conduct.
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating multiple types of machines such as an Order Picker, Reach Truck, Turret Truck (Swing Reach), Drexel, and Power Jack.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to understand, speak, read, write clearly in basic English
High School Diploma or GED required
3-5 years of experience
Requires satisfactory completion of a fork lift training program.
Basic math skills
Ability to lift items from 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
Must be willing to work overtime as well the ability to work on Saturday and Sunday when the need arises. (Having a flexible schedule is preferred.)
Be comfortable working at high heights.
Proficient in the use of radio frequency (RF) equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions, as required.
