Downtown Cleveland, OH, Company has an immediate need for a temp-to-hire Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist. Hours are first shift; salary is $16-$19 an hour (based upon experience). Parking reimbursement is provided.
Responsibilities:
Administrative: Maintains constant inventory of marketing collateral (flyers, maps, marketing books) for advisors, provide front desk coverage and also act a backup, routinely send out email blasts of corporate research publications, enters and updates data on a daily basis to multiple property listing databases such as COCIE, CoStar, Loopnet, Officespace.com and internal databases such as REApps, supports advisors by typing correspondence, sending documents, developing spreadsheets and updating contacts, pulls data and runs searches on behalf of advisors in external and internal databases, processes listing and closed deal paperwork in conjunction with the research analyst and Marketing & Research Manager.
Graphic Design: Designs and produces marketing collateral such as proposals, flyers, books, floorplans and mailers in a timely fashion in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, creates powerful and creative corporate collateral using InDesign, utilizing Visual Identity Guidelines, and designs emails and electronic material using corporate standards.
Copywriting: Develops and prepares proposals in close conjunction with advisors and executive leadership team, writes clear and concise copy for corporate marketing collateral, prepares white papers and articles based off of interviews, research, etc., and is familiar with AP Stylebook and business writing.
Marketing/Research: Works closely with Brokerage team to develop plans for marketing of properties and implement ideas on behalf of the advisors, manages and plans events as needed to promote properties, as well as creates marketing materials such as presentation boards, takeaway pieces, manages social network accounts such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, shoots and edits basic video and audio for web consumption, works closely with Director of Marketing on special projects and corporate initiatives, develops and maintains relationships with brokerage community and real estate vendors, listens to the needs of advisors and prioritizes workload based off of this, pulls comparables and listing and sale information from databases for research requests, assists other marketing specialist, administrative assistants and research team with projects on as-needed basis, and develops advertisements for business publications.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 1 to 3 years previous marketing or project management experience.
Experience in related efforts, including but not limited to real estate, marketing, event planning, graphic design.
Knowledge of commercial real estate and experience in commercial real estate processes a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
Knowledge of AP Style a plus.
Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes quickly in a fast paced environment.
Must be skilled with Microsoft Office, Internet; familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
