Inside Sales Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for the qualification and nurturing of sales leads which includes contacting potential and existing customers to define and clarify the specific details of the sales opportunity and capturing and maintaining the customer data and requirements in the Sales Logix database.
Support specific market penetration and segment Marketing programs by conducting base line marketing research on accounts, contacts, and market segments using the internet, telemarketing/tele-research, and direct mail.
Support specific product follow-up initiatives including customer satisfaction surveys, quote follow-up, telesales quote generation, closing past due opportunities, lost and new customer opportunities.
Leverages marketing resources, including buyer personas, sales tools, industry intelligence, marketing content and online footprints, to establish consultative relationships with prospects.
Maintenance of the Sales Logix account and contact database including data entry, maintenance, and clean-up activities.
Assistance with Marketing, Sales, Service, and Administration functions as required including assembly and fulfilment of campaigns (such as mailers), compilation of reports and statistics.
Establish and build relationships with key customers and prospects
Provide all required reporting of activities and achievements.
Quote creation, follow up and revision
Setting appointments for field sales
Supports field sales activities
Other duties as required to meet department deadlines or customer commitments.
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
2-3 years relevant experience in outbound telesales, lead qualification, lead generation, inside sales or sales development preferred.
Excellent English written and verbal communication
Extroverted with a pleasant personality, excellent phone skills and presence.
Internet Savvy, proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel and hands-on experience with customer databases such as Sales Logix.
Technical aptitude with ability and desire to learn the basics about our customer's and our product lines.
Willingness to learn about new telemarketing/tele-research approaches and practices to become more effective.

Must be willing to spend the majority of the work day on the phone and computer.
Must establish and maintain an open, professional and efficient means of communication with all customers, both internal and external.

Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
