Learning and Development Specialist

Leading provider of infection prevention and other procedural products and services in Mentor since 1985. The company is focused primarily on healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device Customers.
The Learning and Development Specialist will report to the Director of Talent Development and partner closely with other members of the Talent Development team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the management and coordination of the companies Learning & Development programs, courses, offerings and vendors, including:

Support assessment and analysis of current courses, programs, offerings and vendors
Work closely with external vendors to coordinate program and service delivery
Coordinate internal (ILT) training courses and workshops, including management of program/course communication, vendor coordination, room set-up, catering, ordering supplies/materials, etc.
Process department invoices and support budget tracking activities
Manage external enrollment, processing and coordination of employees in CWRU s Affiliate Program
Monitor and communicate utilization rates for Skillsoft vendor content.
Support internal promotion and marketing of CEB resources and offerings (e.g.: Manager Success Workshops)
Supports ad hoc Talent Development projects and teams as needed

Up to $43/hr based on experience
1st shift (40 hours per week)
3 -5 month temporary assignment

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience managing the deployment of employee and leadership development courses and programs within an organization
Experience managing external vendors
Ability and willingness to manage a high volume and variety of tasks, including administrative tasks and responsibilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organization
Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Self-directed; ability to work with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience facilitating Instructor-Led employee and leadership development training.
Instructional design experience
LMS experience
Certified to deliver licensed employee and leadership development coursework (e.g.: DiSC, MBTI, Blanchard, DDI, StrengthsFinders, etc.)
