SUMMARY
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance for equipment. Troubleshoot issues to find failure causes in machinery and equipment and make appropriate repairs. Will maintain TS Quality standards for Maintenance Mechanic area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain machines such as Daewoo, Kitamura, Eutrophic, Hydromat, Screw Machine, and Auto Chamfer.
Troubleshoot work needed on pneumatics, and hydraulics of machines.
Troubleshoot electrical issues with machines when applicable.
Complete all records required to keep Guru system updated.
Perform PM s/TPM s as needed.
Provide feedback for parts to be ordered for machines.
Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and safety harness requirements.
Operate forklift and scissor lifts.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, read blue prints and schematics and procedure manuals. Ability to fill in work order information.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

         Inspectors must verify specifications on product using measurement tools, lab equipment and attribute gauges.

          Routinely inspect production operations as specified by Quality Manager.

         Reads and Interprets blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions.

         Selects products for testing at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, and mechanical characteristics.

         Evaluates data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards using standard TS documents.

         Quality Inspector must verify scrap is documented and disposed of according to procedure TS-WI-005.

         Verify proper gages as indicated by In Process Inspection forms are at work stations. Maintain gauges by proper handling, replace labels when needed, calibration dates are not expired and damaged gauges not used to verify production parts. Suspect gauges must be recalibrated before use.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

         To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

         High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

         Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs and histograms.
