The Reserves Network is currently seeking a Powder Coat Painter for a client in Clearwater, FL to set-up, operate, and//or tend machines and equipment to coat a variety or parts and assemblies. Experience in industrial painting is required, and experience with Polane and mil-spec paint is a plus!

Job duties:

         Mask, prime, paint base coat/ texture coat

         Perform basic mathematical functions( addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

         Perform mathematical functions such as percentages, ratios, comparisons, etc.

         Inspect, examine and observe products for obvious equipment defects/ malfunctions

         Assemble or disassemble objects

         Perform repair and maintenance of equipment

         Perform measurements using devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, weight scales, where reading is direct and obvious

         Operate industrial forklifts

         Use non power hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, etc.

         Use hand power tools such as grinders, polishers, etc.

         Make adjustments to obtain specific operating conditions such as turning valves, switches, moving and setting controls, adjusting furnaces.


Job requirements:

         Ability to communicate clearly and understand the English language.

         Ability to write correspondence

         Ability to learn 5S, lean manufacturing and quality system compliance

         Ability to observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc. to determine operation conditions

         Ability to read and interpret documents (instructions, manuals, etc.)

         Ability to apply basic algebraic concepts along with spatial measurements such as area, volume, etc.

         Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time

         Manual dexterity, ability to hold awkward positions at length

         Must be able to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude

         Hand/eye coordination to inspect, assemble/disassemble product and tools as needed.

         Ability to read basic measurement tools.

         High School Diploma or GED required.



Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm, Overtime opportunities are available and sometimes mandatory.
