Technical Quality Control (QC) Inspector


Our client has been an industry leader in custom metal fabrication in the Clearwater area for 55 years.  Due to expansion and growth, we are currently searching for dependable, self-starting, and dedicated candidates to fill their open Technical Quality Control (QC) Inspector position. Position uses CMM and FARO arm technology.


Duties include:

         Use CMM and FARO Arm to inspect integrity and accuracy of finished machined product.

         Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.

         Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.

         Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.

         Record operational or production data.

         Mark products, workpieces, or equipment with identifying information.


Requirements include:

         Ability to observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, micrometers, etc.

         Recent and relevant experience using CMM and/or FARO arm.

         Ability to read and interpret documents (instructions, manuals, etc.)

         Must be able to stand for long periods of time

         Manual dexterity, ability to hold awkward positions at length

         Must be able to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude

         Hand/eye coordination to inspect, assemble/disassemble product and tools as needed.

         5+ years of experience is a must

         High School Diploma or GED required.

         Pay: $18-$23hr+ (DOE)

         Day shift opportunity, Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm (OT is often available)
