Telesales Specialist

Role/Purpose:
The Telesales Specialist is responsible for generating leads, quotes and orders for service offerings for Product Inspection PI systems. This position interacts with all levels of internal and external personnel requiring proficient communication skills, both oral and written. The position requires generating service leads and quotes, follow-up on proposals, review KPI reports on a frequent basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver World Class Customer service with a focus on increasing customer retention rate and providing outstanding customer support
Build repeat sales opportunities through strong customer relationships by focusing on customers needs
Responsibilities include calling customers promoting and selling service agreements along with other service products
Thorough follow-up on all marketing generated leads
Advise customers new products and services, special promotions that are relevant to their needs or preferences
Manage and accurately record leads and quotes through CRM database (SalesLogix, understand lead and quotes metrics
Provide pricing for service products and prepare customer quotes, keep customers informed of the quote progress
Review sales documents prior to order entry for accuracy and customer needs fulfillment
Collaborate with the service sales team to encourage high contract renewal rates and future service sales
Prepare quotes, review documents and orders prior to entry in Syteline and SLX
Review and understand margins and profitability report
Generate, review and follow-up on iBase campaigns (recommended spares, training audits, end-of-warranty, repairs, IPac, etc.) related offerings
Identify key account prospects for service offerings
Interact with service and sales personnel ensuring effective development of leads and quotes
Work with service management and marketing to identify customers who have bought a service product in the past or prospects whose profiles indicate that they are likely to buy
Review customers contact information and ensure contact details are updated in the CRM records
Understand and review monthly opportunity and sales reports
Follow SOPs and provide feedback on process improvements as needed
Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to service sales and department objectives
Communicate effectively with all departments throughout the organization to gather necessary information and report back to Service Sales Team as required
Work on special projects or other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
? Excellent organizational skills, efficient, detail-oriented and customer focused
? Exceptional math, written and verbal communication skills
? Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks with changing priorities and deadlines
? Ability to analyze and make sound judgments on service offerings
? Ability to analyze websites to assess potential leads and customer product knowledge
? Must be able to communicate with management on processes or customer issues.
? Must communicate both verbally and in writing throughout the organization in a clear and concise way to ensure that customers expectations are understood
? Experience with computerized office systems and software (i.e., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, internet)
? Experience in SAP or another ERP software system and SalesLogix helpful
? Basic knowledge and understanding of Product Inspection (PI) systems following company paid training

Minimum Education / Experience Required:
? Associate Degree in Business; Bachelor degree strongly urged, with proven sales or marketing work history
? 3-5 years' experience in a customer service sales environment
? Prior experience selling in a B2B environment; experience with selling service contracts, recommended spares, training, service offerings and customer service products
? Familiar with field service practices and procedures, having worked in an aftermarket sales and field service environment previously
