Job Description
Euclid area machine shop seeks Acme Operator (setup and operate)
Acme Operator Duties:
- Set up and operate Acme machines
- Read blueprints and job routings to determine part specifications
- Use of gages and measuring instruments to make sure parts conform to specifications
- Assist and learn to make simple machine adjustments
Requirements include:
- Three years minimum experience
- Experienced Acme Gridley set up person
- Must have a working knowledge of tooling and attachments including but not limited to Dovetail forms, floating shave, knee tools, knurling, thread rolling, accelerated reaming, recess and pick off attachments.
- Able to set up to completion from print and layout including cams, gears, attachment and tooling to finished part
Benefits:
- $23-26 per hour based on experience
- 1st shift 6am – 4:30pm Monday through Thursday
