Pay Rate: $23/an hour
Location: Southington area(s)
Hours: 3rd Shift Sunday – Thursday 10:45 pm-7:15 am
Play a critical role in supporting goals and maintaining them when you become an Assembly Automation Technician for a Leading medical manufacturer in Southington CT.
As a Technician Assembler, you apply automation skills along with related knowledge in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify automated machinery. Perform machine setup, and equipment/product changeovers, troubleshoot equipment performance problems, and assist the team with machine adjustments. As an Assembly Automation Technician, you will have a big impact on achieving company production goals. You'll be responsible for ensuring the correct operation of automatic and semi-automatic assembly production equipment.
What You Need as an Assembly Automation Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school background desirable.
- Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience. Previous experience with automated and semi-automated equipment preferred.
- Strong proficiency in multiple skill clusters, including electronics, mechanical systems, and manufacturing.
- Automated and semi-automated machinery and process knowledge
- Knowledge of computers and computerized controls
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
