Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician
Mount Belvieu, TX 77523
8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
$16-$21 hourly (Depends on experience)
Rotating weekends - 1 or 2 weekends per month
The Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician provides support and responds to our resident’s service needs through the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician. This involves insuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
What you will do:
- Assists make-ready staff as required to meet deadlines.
- Perform minor and routine maintenance/repair daily, including but not limited to electrical and plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, flooring, and interior fixtures.
- Reports all major repairs and need requisitions to Lead Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
- Change locks, rekey, and make keys.
- Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment.
- Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
What you need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of property maintenance experience
- Experience using hand and power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
- Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
- Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations.
