The Reserves Network has partnered with a Fremont Manufacturer to hire an Automation Technician on 2nd shift. This Automation Technician is responsible for the maintenance and support of automated and semi-automated manufacturing solutions. You will be troubleshooting equipment, making repairs and maintaining electrical controls along with identifying risk areas likely to cause breakdowns. This is a direct hire opportunity meaning you go directly to work for the client.
Automation Technician Qualifications:
-High school diploma required
-Degree in mechatronics or similar field of study plus two years of experience in manufacturing environment
-5 years of PLC programing and controls experience will be considered
-Relevant technical certifications-Rockwell, Fanuc, Inductive, Automation
-Knowledge of PLC’s and PLC programing
-Knowledge of automated manufacturing principles
-Reading, analyzing, and conveying specifications schematics and mechanical diagrams
Automation Technician Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and replacing VFD’s
-Perform preventive maintenance
-Troubleshoot control issues using PLC programming software Studio5000, RSlogix 500, Productivity3000
-Troubleshoot control network communication issues
-Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components
-Repair and maintain electrical controls on processing equipment
-Proficient with use of multi meter and troubleshooting analog devices
-Participate in projects improving equipment reliability, process improvement, lean manufacturing, and RCA.
Automation Technician Pay:
$24 - $40 / hour
