Bilingual HR Specialist

Job Description
- Coach and support managers and supervisors throughout the onboarding process
- Review and ensure payroll is being accurately processed
- Track, coach, mentor and monitor employees and supervisors on weekly attendance
- Handle all FMLA, STD, W/C, ADA leaves
- Recruit and work with temporary agencies, assisting in recruiting for roles when needed
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with the onboarding process Create processes, checklists, and procedures for new hire process, termination process, etc.
- Answer payroll and benefit-related questions Facilitate the internal job promotion, update job descriptions and assist with the interview process
- Enter HRIS for all new hires, changes, LOA’s and terminations in the system by providing record-keeping and employee file maintenance and audits
- Support the employee reward and recognition programs
- Work with the Director of Operations and assist with payroll
- Must be bilingual
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2-3 years prior HR experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Prior ADP or Paylocity experience a huge plus
- Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Strong recruiting background and desire to recruit are required
- Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lead initiatives that require project management
- Accepts responsibility for own actions and ensure strong follow-up on commitments
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
