Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm | Salary: $18.00 an hour

Bilingual Job Developer’s Responsibilities:
  • Work with area partners to identify potential employers and develop a marketing strategy.
  • Contact new companies to promote hiring of refugees.
  • Review employment websites daily and periodicals weekly.
  • Follow-up with interested companies through personal visits and meetings and maintain a case file for each client.
  • Provide pre-employment orientation and counseling to clients.
  • Provide transportation as needed to job interviews and assignments.
 
Bilingual Job Developer’s Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with one year of related experience; or a high school diploma with 4 years of related experience is required.
  • One year of previous experience working with refugees or previous experience working in recruiting, staffing, and job placements is required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some late nights and weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
  • Must have current vehicle inspection sticker and vehicle registration.
