CNC Brake Press Setup Operator


Are you looking for a company that you can utilize all your skills with? This company is looking for talent that has many skills. They are currently looking for a CNC Brake Press Setup operator at their Ozaukee plant.


This company was founded in 1979 as a family owned machine shop, with a mere 5,000 square feet of machining space and a handful of customers to their name. Through their continued commitment to quality and customer service they have expanded their current location multiple times to the current 100,000 square foot facility.


Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Setup/Operator sets-up and operates brake presses and punch presses to form and bend a variety of materials.

Responsible for part quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities for the CNC Brake Press:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as determined by management:

         Set-up, adjust, and operate CNC Brake Press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work

         Set-up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii

         Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates

         Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges

         Sorting and packaging parts

         Verify quantity & quality of material

         Moves raw material to and from production areas as necessary

         Operates overhead crane while moving product

         Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct

         Other duties as assigned or required


Skills/Qualifications for CNC Brake Press Setup Operator:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

         Good math skills; Basic reading & writing skills

         Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable

         Strong attention to detail

         Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls

         Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision & depth perception

         Occasionally required to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

         Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

         Ability to work overtime when required



         2nd shift 3:30 pm 1:30 am; Mon-Thurs; overtime available on Friday/Saturday as needed

         $15/hr. plus $0.75/hr. shift premium
