Our client, a premier fabrication shop, needs a top notch CNC Brake Press Setup Operator.

 

Skill Requirements:

         Must be able to read a ruler to 1/32

         Read, convert and understand Metric and English drawings.

         Blueprint reading.

         Work from drawings, patterns, templates and specifications: use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to check progression of work and final product.

         Experienced working with 10 gauge and heavier material

         High School Graduate or Equivalent

 

Duties:

         Setup dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle.

         Calculate tonnage needed to form part and compare to press brake capacity.

         Determine sequence of multiple pass operations to make required bends on complicated sections.

         Make setups for forming special shapes having single or compound radii and angle requirements.

         Use scale, protractor, dividers, radii gauges, etc.

         Perform CNC Programming functions to operate CNC Press Brake.

         Determine proper die openings per material thickness and radius required per drawing.

         175 to 350 Ton Presses used in this position, so you must have 10 gauge  and heavier experience

 

Shift/Pay/Benefits:

         2nd shift,  Mon-Fri, 2:30 pm 11 pm

         $18 22/hr. based on experience plus shift premium - $0.75/hr.
