Job Description
CNC Machinist T/C and M/C Set-up Operator
We are seeking an experienced CNC T/C and M/C that will set up and operate CNC T/C and CNC Vertical M/C in a precision machining environment.
What You Will Do:
- Check posted programs for errors and performance
- Hold tolerances as specified on drawings and specs
- Examine for conformity by studying blueprints, layouts, sketches, or work orders using microscopes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers and determine tooling instructions, tools and materials needed, and sequences of operations
What You Will Need:
- Must have 2+ years of experience with the operation of CNC lathes and mills
- Do offsets, perform tool changes and provide your own tools
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers and calipers
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand during shift
- Experience with complete set-up and operation of CNC lathes and mills
- Be able to complete set-ups, make edits, offsets, perform tool changes
