CNC Machinist | 2nd Shift

Northwest Houston 77041

Temp-to-hire

6pm to 6am; Monday to Friday

$28 to $32 an hour; based on experience

A large distribution hub for global oil tools supplier has an immediate need for a CNC Machinist with hands-on recent experience operating Mazak Integrex Machine.

Responsibilities

Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
Load parts utilizing overhead lifting equipment
Inspect sample work pieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Read blueprints, precision measuring instruments and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerance and tooling requirements

Qualifications

2+ years recent experience in machining of oilfield products
Experienced in machine set up
Strong understanding of CNC G&M codes
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
Upon offer, a physical exam will be administered
