Job Description
CNC Machinist
The Reserves Network is currently hiring a CNC Machinist for a chair manufacturer in Clearwater, FL. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup up and operation of CNC equipment.
What you will do:
- Operate all designated machine shop equipment and hand tools skillfully.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders.
- Perform assigned preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
- Monitor progress of work and address issues as needed.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Perform setups on all types of machine tools and equipment.
- Purge defective products from line/inventory and requests correction or re-fabrication.
- Monitor quality of work and assure parts are manufactured to specification on a consistent basis; take action to minimize errors and drive down rate of nonconformance.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 1 year experience CNC, Lathe, G Code, saw and other tools
- Blueprint reading experience
What is in it for you:
- Pay range $16 - $20 per hour
- 2:30p - 10:00pm Monday – Friday
