Our client is a global leader in the machining industry, dedicated to providing exceptional services. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated CNC, Drill, and Tap Machine Operators to join our team at our Greensboro, NC location.

Job Summary:

As a CNC Turning & Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring smooth operations, and producing high-quality workpieces. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor machines for unusual sounds or vibrations that may indicate operational issues

- Safely insert castings into machines, either manually or using a hoist

- Operate CNC, Drill, and Tap machines efficiently and accurately

- Remove finished products from machines and perform necessary finishing tasks such as smoothing rough edges and correcting imperfections

- Conduct inspections and compare finished workpieces to specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards

- Document production numbers accurately and maintain production logs for future reference

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in using a handheld non-digital micrometer

- Experience operating computer-controlled machines or robots for metal castings

- Familiarity with cutting, punching, and press machines for metal castings

- Knowledge of drilling and boring machines for metal workpieces

- Competence in operating grinding, lapping, polishing, and buffing machines for metal workpieces
