Job Description

Case Worker
 
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
Location: Houston, Texas 77006
Hours: Contract; Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
 
A non-profit organization is seeking a Case Worker to join their team. With your strong attention to detail and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by supporting the transition and closure of cases. Submit your resume today!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with case managers to ensure all necessary documentation and client requirements are fulfilled.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client files and maintain up-to-date records of case closure activities.
  • Assist clients in accessing and securing permanent housing solutions.
  • Conduct audits and generate reports summarizing findings from quality control checks and audit reviews for program management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of closure protocols, timelines, and communication strategies to ensure a seamless transition for clients and staff.
  • Prepare written summaries, presentations, and other materials for program stakeholders.
 
List Qualification or Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of experience in case management, housing assistance programs, or social services.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software for data entry, reporting, and documentation purposes.
