Harris County Public Health Department is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Clinic Clerk to join their team. As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program. Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, check-in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
- Complete data entry and evaluate eligibility documents for residency, identification, income, and immunizations.
- Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
- Conduct community outreach and provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Translation services are to be provided; any language other than English is required.
- EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.
