Direct Hire Commercial Sales & Project Manager
Location: Douglasville, GA
Job Summary: Seeking a Commercial Sales & Project Manager with experience selling a variety of lighted, non-lighted, foam, metal, polymer, LED Signs, themed, commercial signs from sales lead development phase through design, estimating, fabrication, installation, and invoicing phases by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Calls on and develops sales.
  • Meets with potential clients to perform property analysis, identify scope of work, and determine project design criteria, landlord criteria and jurisdictional sign code to establish mandated design/construction parameters. 
  • Creates and maintains client/project information in company database; opens and updates jobs in company’s system.
  • Develops marketing strategies. 
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients. 
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. 
  • Represents Company at trade association meetings and tradeshows to promote company.
  • Reviews market analysis to determine clients’ needs based on budget, location, and goal. 
  • Develop new clients within geographic area. 
  • Creates and delivers sales presentations to clients.
  • Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Produces design request based on client design criteria, site survey, landlord criteria and sign code; interface with design department to produce design/ engineering drawings for client presentation. 
  • Oversees any necessary revisions to original drawings; obtains final design approval from client and produces estimating/bid request based on approved design. 
  • Secures sign permit from project jurisdiction and deposit from client. 
  • Executes work/installation order outlining all aspects of project production and installation.
  • Attends work order release meetings (a.k.a. production meeting or pre-production meeting) prior to fabrication to examine project drawings and work order for feasibility, engineering, color match and releases “Approved for Production” work order package.   
  • Provides accounts receivable with all information necessary for invoicing. 
  • Assists with collecting accounts receivable when required. 
  • Cultivates positive client relationships. 
  • Manage jobs/projects of work subbed out.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SharePoint- DeNet Database software; CorelDraw Design software; Microsoft Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
