Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am to 4 pm | Salary: $16 an hour
Client Company: City of Houston Public Works and Engineering Department
Do you have experience working in a Customer Service Role? The City of Houston and ExecuTeam are partnering up and looking to fill a Customer Service Representative I. The Customer Service Representative I will navigate clients on their inquiries and direct them to the closest service and obtain information regarding customer accounts and billing. Customer Service Representative I’s Responsibilities
- Analyze accounts for processing service requests and complete tasks, including any adjustments or corrections, to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Research, analyze, and resolve customer’s problems and inquiries
- Provide general information to customers on account balances, services, delinquent accounts, and adjustments
- Receive and make calls to customers to provide information about their bills
- Perform data entry activities to record information
- Verify new customer accounts with other utility companies
Customer Service Representative I’s Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- A minimum of 6 months of administrative or customer service-related experience are required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required
- Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel and working with the community
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
