Job Summary for the Arc Air Cut-off:
Remove gates and risers from castings either through arc-air cutting or saw cutting.
Duties and responsibilities for the Arc Air Cut-off:
Identify the alloy being cut
Cut with saw or arc-air being careful to only remove non casting material
Separate the returns into the proper tubs
Place like alloy parts in tubs or pallets and label with part number and due date
Requirements for the Arc Air Cut-off:
High School diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent; or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as print, safety rules, operating instructions, job tickets, and procedure manuals written in English.
Ability to add and subtractin all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Must be able to covey issues or concerns relating to the production and finishing of cores.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
3rd shift 8 pm 5 am
Pay - $14-17/hr. based on experience PLUS $1/hr. shift premium
