Delivery Driver Assistant  [Building Material - Immediate Need]
$20/hr.  | Burnet Road
Monday - Friday 7 am until deliveries have been made
Temp-To-Hire

We are seeking reliable home remodeling and the new homebuilding industry is booming and so is the need to deliver high-end building supplies and equipment. We seek an energetic driver assistant to provide building materials to their customers. Important:  This position does not include driving but will ride along with a driver to assist with installations. You must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. and can handle a dolly or hand truck.

What Will You Do:
  • Assist and ride with the main driver to assist in unloading and loading materials
  • Count inventory and compare it to the bill of sale material
  • Pack and unpack trucks of building supplies
  • Verify building material and address for delivery
  • Unload trucks and check-in materials
What You Will Need:
  • Able to pick, Sort, and load items to be delivered in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift experience is a huge plus
  • Dolly and hand truck experience
  • Use  of hand trucks to transport merchandise throughout the building, scan and pack merchandise
  • Warehouse experience
