Dyno Engineer

Position Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the engine dynamometer.
  • Develop procedures as required.
  • Maintain dyno tuning parameters and test routines.
  • Work with ECM harnesses to connect to engine dynamometer.
  • Work with ECM software to tune engine for the purpose of dyno testing.
  • Perform tests and analyze data as required.
  • Work closely with engine build team in support of dyno testing.
Requirements:
  • Min. 2 yr. associates or technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or similar) with a fundamental understanding of PID controls and data analysis techniques.
  • 5+years working with engine dynamometers and/or ECM’s.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and engineering schematics.
  • Strong data analysis aptitude preferred.
  • Programming skills a major plus.
  • Ability to lift and safety handle diesel engine parts (50 Ibs).
  • Ability to stand for periods of time.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to safely use various hand tools.
