The Reserves Network has partnered with an Omaha Engineering firm that is seeking a highly skilled electrical design engineer to join their dynamic team. Job responsibilities of the electrical design engineer include:
- Prepare design documentation and schedules
- Provide design of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and communications systems
- Perform calculations, sizing, and analysis of electrical systems for buildings
- Investigate code requirements
- Ensure the preparation and timely delivery of accurate, complete, and value-added documents
- Assist with construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFIs, and completing site visits during the construction phase
- Serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and the design team
Qualifications of the electrical design engineer include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
What to expect as an electrical design engineer:
- Starting pay of $80,000 per year may increase based on experience
