Graphic Finisher Needed!

 

Our client has been a leader in the printing environment for years.  Due to service expansion, we are currently searching for motivated, hard-working graphic finisher to fill their open position.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

          Perform installation fixtures and graphics at customer sites per work order instructions

          Performing lamination, cutting, masking, and weeding.

          Trimming and mounting large format prints.

          Preparation of a variety of printed materials.

          Proofs finished graphics to ensure completeness and quality standards are maintained prior to installation.

          Proofs installed graphics making sure quality standards are maintained

          Ensuring a computerized job control system is kept up to date at all times.

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

          Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.

          Must have good attention to detail and quality control.

          Must be a self-starter able to complete projects with minimal supervision.

          Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and deliver excellent customer service.

          The ability to express thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing. 

          Capable of standing during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.

          Capable of moving and lifting 50 pounds.

          Ability on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees.

          Ability on a consistent basis, to function in a fast paced environment, under substantial pressure.

          Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

          Ability to work with minimal supervision.

 

WORK CONDITIONS:

          Overtime required as business demands.

          Exposure to chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as paper dust.

          Fast-paced environment; subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

          Noise level is usually moderate to loud.

          Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
