Job Description
Grinder Machine Operator
As a Grinder Operator, you will be able to grow and learn how to manufacture carpet padding utilizing tools and machines for a busy Salisbury floor padding manufacturing company. Learn how our client uses recycled old carpet padding and foam to make new floor padding. You will grind recycled material and mold it into usable foam, then you will cut the required thickness/specs. Are you a heavy lifter and can lift up to 100 pounds? What You Will Do:
● Lifting heavy raw material into a hopper
● Monitoring the machine as it manufactures products and regrinds tooling when needed
● Conduct routine quality checks and maintain an orderly work area
● Manufacture special tools for detailed print specification
What You Will Need:
● Able to read blueprints
● Forklift, quality control, troubleshooting, hand tools, and micrometer experience are a huge plus Ability to stand and walk the entire shift and lift to 100 lbs.
● Ability to read, understand, and follow work processes and procedures and follow safety procedures
