Job Description
HR Generalist
$30/ hr. | Monday _ Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Katy, Texas
Contract 3 - 6 months
We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and human resources experience to assist our client as an HR Generalist for approximately 3 – 6 months. Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Paylocity. In this role, you will establish workflows and complete implementation using Paylocity.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish workflows and complete the implementation process using Paylocity
- Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve issues
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, for applying for new perks and benefits and organizing team-building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor laws
Requirements and Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources is a huge plus
- 1 -3 years of HR Generalist experience with implementation
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of running Paylocity
- Previous experience completing implementations
- Understanding of HR metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of labor laws
